1. Controllers
Jointly responsible for data processing on this website:
Ole Stumpf, Douglasstr. 8, 76133 Karlsruhe, Germany

2. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus). When you visit the site, Hostinger processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, browser type) in server log files. This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Hostinger.
3. Waitlist
When you join our waitlist, we store your email address to notify you about the start of ticket sales and news about the first tournament. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time by email; we will then delete your entry promptly.
4. Ticket purchase and team registration (Stripe)
When you buy tickets or register a team, we process the data you provide (player names, email addresses, team level) to run the tournament and deliver the tickets. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract). We delete this data once it is no longer needed, at the latest three months after the respective tournament, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. tax law) apply.
Payment is processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland). You enter your payment details (e.g. card data) directly with Stripe — they never reach our servers. We only receive your name, email address and payment status from Stripe. Stripe may transfer data to the USA based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See Stripe's privacy policy for details.
5. Results and photos
After our tournaments we publish placements (first name and abbreviated surname) and photos of the tournament day on this website. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which we obtain during registration or on site. You can object to publication at any time by email — we will then remove the content promptly.
6. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses no analytics and no tracking services. Fonts and resources are served locally from our server. Only one technically necessary session cookie is set in the (non-public) admin area. During checkout you are redirected to Stripe's pages, where Stripe's cookie and privacy notices apply.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR) at any time. Simply contact info@unforced-events.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
