Ticket Terms

1. Scope & organisers

These terms apply to the purchase of team registrations and spectator tickets for unforced-events tournaments via this website. Organisers are Ole Stumpf (Douglasstr. 8, 76133 Karlsruhe) and Jakob Lessing (Okenstraße 8, 76131 Karlsruhe), acting jointly under the name "unforced-events".

2. Contract & payment

The contract is concluded once payment via our payment provider Stripe has been completed successfully. You receive your tickets (with QR code) by email immediately afterwards — for team registrations, each team member receives a personal ticket at the email address provided. All prices are final.

3. Tickets & entry

Entry requires presenting the QR code (on your phone or printed). Each QR code grants one entry and is invalidated at check-in. Tickets may be passed on to another person; for team registrations, please drop us a note at info@unforced-events.com so matchmaking stays fair. Commercial resale is prohibited.

4. No right of withdrawal

As these are tickets for a leisure event on a fixed date, there is no statutory right of withdrawal pursuant to Section 312g (2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Purchases are therefore binding.

5. Cancellation, rescheduling & refunds

If a tournament cannot take place (e.g. too few registrations, force majeure), we refund the full ticket price. If it is rescheduled, you may keep your ticket or receive a full refund. Beyond that there is no entitlement to a refund — tickets are transferable though (see section 3); feel free to contact us by email in individual cases. Refunds are processed via Stripe to the original payment method.

6. Participation & health

Participation is at your own risk. Please assess your fitness and health realistically. Follow the instructions of the organisers and the venue rules; in case of serious misconduct we may exercise our right to expel participants without refund.

7. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. We accept no liability for personal belongings (e.g. rackets, valuables).

8. Photos & results

Photos are taken at the tournament and placements are published. See the privacy policy for details and how to object.

9. Final provisions

German law applies. Should individual provisions be invalid, the remainder stays effective. The EU online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr; we are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
